API Terms
Additional terms that apply to programmatic use of Mahad OCR.
API keys
Keys are issued per tenant, are shown once at creation, and are stored by us only as hashes. Keys begin with mk_live_. Treat a key like a password; disable it immediately if exposed.
Rate limits and quotas
Each plan has a per-minute rate limit and a monthly document quota. Exceeding them returns HTTP 429 with a machine-readable error code. Do not attempt to bypass limits with multiple accounts.
Fair use
Automated retry storms, unbounded parallelism and load testing against production are not permitted without prior agreement.
Changes to the API
Additive changes may be made at any time. Breaking changes to existing response fields will be announced in advance.
Availability
No uptime SLA is currently offered. Service status is published on the API Status page.
Data you send
You confirm you are entitled to submit each document and that you have any consent your law requires.
