The processing pipeline
Every upload follows the same path, whichever engine ends up reading it.

Document type is detected from the content — you do not have to tell us what it is.
2 · Route
The free deterministic engine runs first where it applies; the universal AI reader handles the rest.
3 · Check
Each field is checked against evidence: two independent AI readers agree, MRZ check digits prove it, or the file’s own text layer. It never invents a value.
4 · Decide
Verified, review or failed — anything disputed, unreadable or missing waits for a person.
