Feature
Batch and Multi-Page Processing
Send several documents in one request, and read multi-page PDFs page by page.
What is Batch and Multi-Page Processing in Mahad OCR?
Available now. A batch endpoint accepts multiple files in a single call, and multi-page PDFs are split into pages, processed independently and merged into one result with page-tagged fields. Input: Multiple files per batch request; PDFs up to 5 pages each. Limitation: PDF pages beyond 5 per document are not parsed — split longer files before upload.
What it does
A batch endpoint accepts multiple files in a single call, and multi-page PDFs are split into pages, processed independently and merged into one result with page-tagged fields.
How it works
- 1POST several files to /v1/documents/batch
- 2Quota is checked for the whole batch before any processing
- 3Each document is queued independently
- 4Poll each returned document id

- summed cost
API
POST /v1/documents/batch
Security & privacy
Batch quota is enforced up front so a large batch cannot bypass your limit.
Current limitations
PDF pages beyond 5 per document are not parsed — split longer files before upload. Batches are still subject to your plan rate limit.
